ABOUT US:  We have been collecting historic military films for many years. We started out with a mission of preservation after learning that a Vietnam Vet neighbor's movies, filmed at Tan Son Nhut Air Base, had been thrown out after he passed away. Over time, our collection has become quite substantial and we thought others might want to see them also -- hence the creation of Vintage Film Arsenal and this website.

We transfer home movies using professional transfer equipment, and we edit out blank spots, bright flashes and other problem areas. Because of the historic significance of these one-of-a-kind films, we do leave in footage that may be a bit blurry, too light or too dark, using editing software to enhance it when possible, to preserve the most viewable footage. To make a more entertaining movie, we also add a soundtrack of appropriate music -- AFVN radio on our Vietnam DVDs and similar broadcasts on others.

Most of our material is very rare and/or one-of-a-kind. New titles will be added as they are ready for sale. We're sure you'll enjoy the DVDs... You won't find them anywhere else!

ABOUT OUR DVDs: Our films are available in DVD-R format. They will play on most t.v. DVD players and also on computers that are DVD-R compatible. We recommend viewing them on T.V. for the best picture quality.

WANTED: Any individual that has personal knowledge of the subject of any of our DVDs that would like to provide a running commentary, please contact us. A DVD with commentary from a vet who was there is the best way to preserve these historic films.

We're always looking for more film to add to our collection -- contact us if you have old film we might be interested in.
